Publication and Campaign

SEVAA has a tiny Publication Department which keep on publishing  annual magazine, program based -journals and leaflets.

1) Nostalgic Narendrapur is an annual magazine of SEVAA, basically e- magazine having literary pieces and reports on SEVAA activities. It contained literary contributions from the rx students of R K Mission as well as from outside. Reveared Swamijis also contributed in this magazine. In last 3 years, 2 issues Nostalgic Narendrapur have been published.

2)  An annual Report in the form of a journal containing all the details of activities has been published in 2024.

3) Leaflets were published  for campaign.

4) At least three videos have been developed for campaign. One video was uploaded in U-tube channel and this was hit by a good number of spectators not directly connected with SEVAA.

 Training, Festival and Sammelan

   Each year SEVAA holds several training programmes and Sammelan or Festival for attracting and involving  outside people in SEVAA activities.

1) Training programmes were held thrice on lac cultivation at Saparambera. Teavhers' training were held thrice at Ukhra. Every time, the programmes made huge impact on the mind of the locality.

2)  In Jan, 2023, a programme evaluation team visited Saparambera, Ajodhya Hills. That was turned into a kind of festival and tribal people performed their rituals and songs and dance in that celebration.

3) In 28th Jan, 2024, the First SEVAA Sammelan was held at Narendrapur R K Mission Lokshiksha Parishad.  It was organised at Maa Sarada Hall. A large number of people from regular members and their families, Associate members, representatives from Saparambera and SEVAA Ukhra, well wishers from different fields, special guests and dignitories.

  The Sammelan was inaugurated by Hon'ble  Principal Maharaj, Swami Ekachittanandaji. Dr Manas Ghosh acted as the Chief Guest.

  The inaugural session was followed by other four session :

1) About SEVAA: Representatives from SEVAA, Kolkata, Saparambera Vivekpally and SEVAA Ukhra and teachers of Sudur Pathshala introduced their activities. The session was compered by Dr Sajal Das and Dr. Swaraj Bose.

2) Health awareness and SEVAA: this session was compered by Samir Nayek and Dibes Bera. Dr. Punyabrata Gun, Dervice Place and Dr. Nandini Mukherjee participated in this discussion.

3) Civil Society Organisation and SEVAA :  Representatives from more than 10 CSOs were present in the Sammelan. They all sought for new scope of networking of CSOs for implementing programmes at field level. The session was compered by Dibya Gopal Ghatak and Dr. Jaydev De.

4) Open Discussion: The session was compered by Ratan Ghosh Dastidar.

     The business session was ended with a closing session. In this session, Swami Basavananda presided. Justice Rajarshi Bharadwaj remained present as Chief Guest and Dr. Nilendu Moitra and Dr. Mouli Madhab Ghatak were present as Special guests.

   It was followed by a beautiful  evening cultural programme performed by SEVAA members and tribal participants from Saparambera.
